Western Australia is overlooked by many wine merchants but it produces some first class reds and whites, and Robert Oatley is one of my favourite sources.

Ellies has been a reliable source of his wines at a competitive price - I normally buy direct from my local Ellies but this time included them in a home delivery - wine rack topped up quickly, no travel, and a good deal.

I've been trying out alcohol free beers as part of a keep fit/lifestyle change and have found that the Brewdog range suits my palate very nicely. However, they are pretty hard to find and I had almost given up when I found these when on Ellie's web site to place a wine order

Two of the best value wines for a long time, the Aquiline is one I have purchased repeatedly and one of the best value wines ever

On a recent Sunday I went out to lunch in a small pub in Wales. On the drinks menu I saw the Aotearoa Sauvignon Blanc Pink which I decided to try! It was so very unusual! I took a photo of the drinks menu and on return home I Googled the brand coming across Ellie's Cellar! What a find! A special offer on the Aotearoa with a very reasonable shipping charge ensured I bought a case of six! A quick call to Ellie's I met the wonderfully supportive Danielle who talked me through a couple of points before I concluded my order. What was great I could pay with PayPal which I always use when I don't know a business. Aotearoa arrived in only three days - two bottles down it is a lovely alternative to Provence Rose's. I rate it highly as a very drinkable wine and am glad to have found Ellie's Cellar. Can't rate them highly enough so I've given 5 stars - try them yourselves.
